What We Do
At Nas Recovery Centre, we believe everyone deserves access to drug and alcohol (AOD) treatment and mental health support in Melbourne, regardless of background. Our Theory of Change is the strategic framework that guides our commitment to supporting African and other CALD Australians to live connected, purposeful lives.
This begins with non-judgmental, culturally safe care – delivered by people who understand the lived experiences of the communities we serve.
Our programs are tailored to the unique needs of African and multicultural communities across Cranbourne and greater Melbourne. These include:
1. Mental Health & Wellbeing: Peer support, early interventions, and drug & alcohol education tailored to African and CALD communities.
2. Family Support: We provide support to families so they can effectively support their children.
3. Youth Justice Support: We help young people who have had contact with the justice system to overcome AOD and mental health challenges.

Restoring Hope
“I am amazed that I was able to be given this opportunity. I have never accepted help in the past because I always thought people would judge me because of having drug history. I'm grateful. I didn't know if I was worthy of support, and being able to receive it without feeling judged"
