What We Do
At NAS Recovery Centre, we believe that all people should have access to AOD treatment and mental health support. Our Theory of Change is our strategic framework for supporting African and other CALD Australians to live meaningful lives.
This starts with culturally safe, non-judgmental treatment and support.
Our programs are culturally tailored to address unique community needs. These programs include:
1. Mental Health & Wellbeing: Services include mental health interventions, peer support, and alcohol and drug education.
2. Family Support: We provide support to families so they can effectively support their children.
3. Youth Justice Support: We help young people who have had contact with the justice system to overcome AOD and mental health challenges.

Acknowledgment of Country
NAS Recovery Centre acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and gather – the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We honour their deep spiritual connection to country and ongoing contributions to culture, community, and healing.
Restoring Hope
“I am amazed that I was able to be given this opportunity. I have never accepted help in the past because I always thought people would judge me because of having drug history. I'm grateful. I didn't know if I was worthy of support, and being able to receive it without feeling judged"
